Effective May 2007, this is the new logo of the
School of St. Mark. The lion represents St. Mark
while the open book symbolizes our students
ongoing desire to gain more knowledge. The gold
color of the lion represents generosity and the
elevation of the mind. The maroon background on
the other hand represents patience in battle or
in meeting challenges leading to victory or
success. On the ribbon below are the latin words
"bis vincit qui se vincit" which means "He
conquers twice who conquers himself'. |
