PROMOTIONS AND FAILURE

Only students who perform according to the standards set forth for both academics and deportment may be promoted to next higher level.

Grade School

1.  A general average of 75% or higher at the end of the school year is necessary for promotion.

2. A student who fails in one (1) or two (2) learning areas or sub learning areas may be required to attend summer enrichment classes in CSSM prior to admission.

High School

1. Student promotion in the high school shall by learning area and by the number of units and shall continue to be based on the minimum performance standard of 75% or higher. 

2. A student shall be retained in the year level if he / she incurs failures of three (3) units or more during the regular school year and is unable to make up for  the failed subjects during the summer sessions.

3. A student who fails  in one (1) or two (2) learning areas or sub-learning areas must take  and pass the summer class in CSSM or in a high school duly accredited by CSSM in order to be admitted for the following school year. Failure to do so may mean repeating the year level or non-readmission.

4. CSSM reserve the right NOT to accept failing or irregular students.
