SUSPENSION OF CLASSES

DepEd Order No, 37, s. 1995, shall govern the suspension of classes in case of typhoon.

Classes, are indicated below, shall be automatically suspended without need of any anouncement, in the following situations:

  •  Where typhoon signal No. 3 or No. 4 is raised by PAG-ASA, classes for the grade school and high school levels shall be automatically suspended.

  • Where the rains are heavy, causing floods in the community and in the area of the school, classes are automatically suspended.

  • Where other calamities such as floods, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes occurred and have seriously damaged the homes of families in the community and probable recurrance of such calamities is declared by proper authorities, classes in all levels are automatically suspended.

NOTE: In case where heavy rains may cause flooding in the proximity of the student's home or way to school, parents shall be given the prerogative in deciding to send their children to school.
