DISCIPLINE SYSTEM

School Uniform

The school needs the cooperation of the home developing habits of personal hygiene and good grooming in the student. The school uniform is a device for such training. The rules and regulations on the use of the prescribe uniform must be observed strictly inside and outside the school premises and during functions. The uniform comprises several types and is the following:

REGULAR SCHOOL UNIFORM -This is worn at least 3 times a week for grade school and four times a week for high school students in practically all school functions.

Boys

Grade 1 to 4

  • White polo shirt with CSSM logo/seal sewn on the left breast pocket and the student’s name with grade level strip sewn just above the pocket. (Shirt jacks are not allowed.)
  • Plain white sando (undershirt with no sleeves-no muscles shirt)
  • A pair of black shorts
  • A pair of white socks
  • Black shoes & black belt

Grade 5 to 4 th year High School

  • White polo shirt with CSSM logo/seal sewn on the left breast pocket and the student’s name with grade level strip sewn just above the pocket.(Shirt jacks are not allowed)
  • Plain white sando (under shirt with no sleeves-no muscle shirt)
  • A pair of traditional/classic cut black slacks or pants (jeans, baggy or loose pants are strictly prohibited.)
  • A pair of black socks
  • Black shoes & black belt

Girls

  • White blouse (regular collar) with CSSM logo/seal sewn on the left breast pocket and name/grade level strip sewn just above the pocket. (Baby collars or any other designs or cuts are not allowed.)
  • Checkered ribbon (for grade school level only)
  • A-line skirt with checkered pattern. (should not fall more than 2 inches above and below the knee)
  • A pair of ankle length white socks
  • Black shoes

 

SCOUTING UNIFORM – this is worn at least once a week for grade school and high school students. Details of this uniform will be provided by the scoutmaster. All students are required to come to school in complete uniform (including the prescribed patches, belt and socks) on the assigned scouting day. While inside campus, all kab/boy scouts are expected to where this uniform properly by tucking in the upper garment at all times while star/girl scouts are expected to wear the prescribed belt. Students who violate this rule will be meted the necessary consequence for improper uniform while students who do not come in uniform will be asked to do community wok or be sent home and marked absent for the scouting activity. They will not be exempted from any quizzes or exams that they may miss.

P.E. UNIFORM – this is worn at least once a week for grade school and high school students. Students in grade school are allowed to attend classes in PE uniform while high school students will be allowed to change only during their assigned PE schedule. High school students will not be admitted to their preceding or succeeding classes until they have worn the regular uniform. Likewise, they will be required to secure a late pass if they do not report to the next class on time after changing.

OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION

Excessive or outrageous jewelry (e.g leather, beads, friendship bracelets, earrings for boys, 2 pairs of earrings or dangling earrings for girls, rings for boys) is strictly prohibited. Likewise, the wearing of make-up, painted & long nails is not allowed.

The guard on duty is authorized not to allow any student who is not in proper uniform to enter the school premises.

Only students wearing prescribed uniform will be admitted to classes and will be allowed to make transaction in any office of the school.

Students sent out of the classroom for any uniform violations ay only be allowed to attend his/her class after she/he has been issued a readmission slip by the Discipline Officer.

The uniform is a symbol of CSSM’s identity as an institution of learning, any student who violates the rules and regulations on the school uniform will be dealt with accordingly. Moreover, it must be noted that any misconduct/misbehavior committed by the student in uniform while off campus is still subject to the rules and regulations governing the institution’s discipline system.
