The wonderful thing about education is that no one can take it away from you. - BB. King.
In today's world, education is one of the most important aspects of a child's growth and development. Unfortunately, not all children have access to education due to various reasons such as poverty, lack of transportation, and limited resources. However, organizing a mobile school can help bridge the gap and provide children with the opportunity to learn and grow.
Realizing this, the CSSM Supreme Student launched their "Mobile Eskwela" project. This project was a revival of the initial efforts made by our school founder, Mrs Janet Sarino-Garcia, over ten years ago to help the children of Bacoor and at the same time provide an opportunity for immersion for our markian students.
Thanks to our students and the cooperation of the local barangay (Panapaan V) headed by Honorable Jorwin Bautista we held our first mobile eskwela session last friday, February 17, at the barangay covered court with around 50 children (ages 3 to 12) from the community participating.
For our Markian leaders, this is the initial step towards their giving back to the community by providing young children with access to education who otherwise might not have been able to attend school due to various reasons. Secondly, it can help improve the literacy rate in the community, which can have a positive impact on the overall development of the community. Thirdly, it can provide a safe and structured environment for children to learn and grow, which can help prevent them from engaging in unhealthy behaviors.
The school is truly proud of this project as it not only transforms the lives of the young children it affects but also transforms the lives of our students and teachers as well.
(We are always open for donations of school supplies and snacks for our feeding program. Simply drop them off anytime at the Center for Student Development with the label "For the Mobile Escuela"... Rest assured that your contributions will go a long way)
