CSSM is in the process of retrofitting its classrooms and facilities in anticipation of the resumption of classes this August.
As the school leans toward the use of blended learning in the delivery of lessons for SY 2022-2023, several physical improvements have to be made in order to comply with DepEd's safety standards.
For one thing, the classrooms to be used will be opened up to allow free flow of air that will provide ample ventilation. All windows and grills will have to be replaced. At the same time, several rooms will also be expanded providing around 80 square meters of space to allow safe distancing.
Since students (depending on level) will be required onsite only 2-3 times a week, the school has ample space to ensure all safety protocols are observed. Rest assured that in no given time will the number of students will be present on campus reach 50% of the total population.
Aside from the classrooms, we can also expect additional wash areas and renovated toilets and other improvements that will secure the safety of our children.
