High School Work
Special Interest Clubs
Special interest clubs provide extra-curricular activities which are outside the scope of the regular curriculum but serve as enrichment. These activities are generally held after class hours and each activity is under the guidance and supervision of the activity moderator.
CSSM offers a variety of extra-curricular activities that are aligned with the philosophy, mission, vision and objectives of the school. These activities are meticulously planned so that the following general objectives are accomplished:
-
To support, complement and enrich classroom instruction
-
To serve as venue for the development of the different aspects of the person’s growth – moral and spiritual, intellectual, psycho-emotional, socio-cultural and physical
-
To serve as venue for the identification, enhancement and honing individual student’s talents and skills
-
To develop the leadership and followership abilities of students
-
To promote positive values and attitudes
-
To provide avenues for the application of theories and concepts learned in the classroom
-
To develop sensitivity to prevailing issues and concerns outside of the classroom such as environmental problems, socio-political conditions, and problems on peace and harmony in communities and families
The following special interest clubs are available to students this online school year 2020-2021. The different club moderators will email you for an invitation on how to sign-up.
