PEAC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Navigating the transition from junior high to senior high can be a bit of a financial whirlwind, but the PEAC (Private Education Assistance Committee) programs are designed to take some of the weight off your shoulders.
Specifically, the Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP) is the primary mechanism that helps students continue their education in private institutions. Here is what you need to know:
The Senior High School Voucher Program
The SHS Voucher Program is a financial assistance package that allows students to enroll in private schools, local universities, or state colleges while receiving a subsidy to cover tuition and other fees. It’s not "cash in hand," but rather a credit applied directly to your school account.
The "Fast Track" for ESC Grantees
One of the most important details involves students coming from private Junior High Schools.
Important Note: If you are a student who completed Grade 10 as an ESC (Educational Service Contracting) Grantee in a private school, you are automatically qualified for the SHS Voucher Program.
You do not need to go through the grueling manual application process or wait for new results—your status as a previous grantee carries over, ensuring you have continued support as you move into Grade 11.
Eligibility & Coverage
While ESC grantees are automatically in, here is a quick breakdown of how the scholarship applies to different groups:
CategoryApplication Status
Public JHS CompletersAutomatically Qualified
Private JHS ESC GranteesAutomatically Qualified
Private JHS Non-GranteesMust Apply via PEAC Online
How Much is the Voucher?
From Private Junior High School Php 14,000.00
From Public Junior High School Php 17,000.00
Quick Tips for Applicants
-
Check your Status: If you aren't sure if you were an ESC grantee, check with your Junior High School registrar.
-
Keep your QVA: For those who do have to apply manually, keep a digital and physical copy of your Qualified Voucher Applicant (QVA) Certificate.
-
Mind the Deadlines: PEAC usually opens the online application portal (the OVAP) during the last quarter of the school year.
Whether you’re a long-time ESC grantee or a new applicant, these programs are a fantastic way to ensure your choice of SHS is based on your dreams, not just your budget.
VARSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Our institution is committed to fostering excellence both on the court and in the classroom. To that end, we offer partial athletic scholarships to distinguished recruits within our women’s varsity volleyball and men’s varsity basketball programs. Beyond athletic prowess, we place a heavy emphasis on academic integrity; applicants must meet rigorous scholastic benchmarks for initial admission. Furthermore, the retention of these awards is strictly contingent upon the student’s ability to maintain a high standard of academic performance throughout their collegiate career.

WHAT DO I DO IN CASE I ENCOUNTER AN UNFORESEEABLE INCIDENT WHICH PREVENTS ME FROM PAYING MY TUITION ON TIME?
Tuition is the lifeblood of our school. It is what keeps us running and allows the delivery of quality education to your child. Therefore it is very important that timely remittance of payments is strongly observed. This is the reason for the need to submit post dated checks (if available) so that we will not bother you with reminders.
However, in the event that you are not able to meet your obligation on time, it is imperative that you communicate with us this matter so we may find an amicable solution together. You may need to issue a promissory note in this regard which we will bind you to commit to the aforementioned agreement.
ARE THERE PENALTIES FOR LATE PAYMENTS?
Yes. A 2% per month penalty for delayed tuition payment. For quarterly payments, it will be 2% of actual remaining balance.
In the event that payment of tuition has not been collected within reasonable time, the account will be forwarded to a collection agency who will secure payment on our behalf. Collection agency fee is around 25% of total outstanding account receivables. Once forwarded, it can no longer be withdrawn.
