Cavite School of St. Mark (CSSM) nurtures responsible, self-driven, and purposeful lifelong learners through future-oriented education that inspires academic excellence, courage, and resilience to meet the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. Grounded on classic and cultural values, CSSM develops young men and women who are respectful, curious, and creative – ready to cope with the phenomenon of change in all areas of life with a sense of God and love for country and community with truth, justice, liberality, and peace as our central virtues.

Vision

The Cavite School of St. Mark envisions its graduates as competent and ethical professionals, men and women of proven expertise and integrity who will become, with time, leaders in their chosen field and pillars of communities.

Educational Philosophy

Cavite School of St. Mark’s academic program is designed for holistic development, blending theory, and practical application in ways that prepare each Markian learner for higher levels of education and for a fulfilled life as they interact with, reflect, and draw meaning from life’s experiences. We build competence using a three-pronged approach: 1) learning from one’s experience; 2) learning with others; 3) learning from formal teaching and instruction. CSSM believes that learning should be directed towards practical use in real-life application and must be architected purposefully to support every child’s talent and potential as they develop and set their future inclination. In alignment with our instructional approaches, the emphasis on disciplined, character formation is among the school’s priorities. Being diligent, trustworthy, respectful, compassionate, and responsible are important values we instill in our students.

Our school philosophy resonates in the Markian educator. Equipped with the necessary competencies and expertise in their fields of specialization, our teachers design learning experiences that shape and hone every student according to the envisioned capabilities of Markian completers and graduates. Our educators embody the dispositions of lifelong learners, constantly developing and expanding their capability while upholding ethical standards and professionalism in their practice. With the constant infusion of creative and innovative instructional approaches, authentic assessment strategies, and a collaborative partnership with the home, our Markian educators foster an enabling environment towards the success of our learners.

The partnership between home and school is integral to Markian education. As parents and guardians identify and connect with our philosophy and core values, the child’s learning and development becomes richer and cohesive with active participation and involvement. With a harmonious and shared approach, together, we build purpose-led young men and women who live meaningful lives from a voice of personal significance, service, and contribution.
